CNN/YouTube Debates

We at BONNIE FOR PRESIDENT are frustrated that Bonnie was not invited to participate in the CNN/YouTube debate tonight. Though we've been quiet this past month, preparing for a major campaign-push, we are still as focused as ever on the White House. Rumor has it that there is a ground swell of support to protest the exclusion of the best-looking candidate, Bonnie. Contact us via the feedback form or sign up for the mailing list to stay abreast and "join the club." Cuz we all know, there's a little blonde in everyone.

What to Debate

Oh goodness-golly! The Democrats had their first major debate and the big question was, what should they debate. I, for one, am glad to see the fighting kept to a low hum. Perhaps the Republicans will do the same. In my humble opinion, most of these contenders are worried about peaking too early; don't want to come out guns-a-blazing and worry about running out of amo! That's why the American people are increasingly turning to refreshing candidates such as Bonnie for President. With no fear and nothing to lose (and with your help), we can turn public opinion by suggesting that America has better things to do than listen to politicians yammer on with each other. Oh goodness, my! Let your thoughts be heard. Send us a message via the forms on our website. Let yourself be heard.

We're So Honored!

Oh goodness-golly, we're just pink with excitement over this special honor. Who knew that video taping our campaign would lead to such special attention?! We thank our lucky stars for this honor. And we thank the Webby Awards, too! We'd also like to name some names. The following people have worked very hard on Bonnie for President: Bonnie Borst (the candidate, obviously), J. Sibley Law, Cheri Daniels, Danielle Hawthorne, Mark Lambeck, Patti Law, and Alex D. Souza. Of course this candidacy would not be possible without the support of the entire News for Blondes team. We are so honored to be working with you!

More Deadlines

Over the past week, every other major candidate only talked about deadlines. "Donate by this deadline," they'd say. Or, they'd ask us to "Help make history!" We here at the Bonnie for President Campaign will be honest with you. On the one hand, if you want to give us some money, or buy our great stuff, we're happy about it. But, we don't get carried away thinking that you giving your hard-earned cash is going to make the kind of difference the big money can make. Like all the other campaigners, we support campaign finance reform. But, we find it difficult to operate within the rules unless everyone does. So, with that we say, "Oh darn! Help make history. Buy a Bonnie for President mug or tee-shirt."

Note From a Supporter

We are so grateful when supporters send notes to the campaign! Not only do they encourage the candidate, but they energize everyone at headquarters. Here is one such message:

Bonnie, you're an inspiration to us all! You embody all the qualities of a true American leader: you're gracious, encouraging, not afraid to speak the truth and know just the right hairstyles to suit every occasion. Bonnie, you've got my support!

A special thank you to this supporter for voicing her thoughts!

A Kinder Approach Focused on the Pretty Pictures

You know, some people approach climate change with a focus on doom-and-gloom instead of seeing the upside. When our researchers put so much energy in collecting truly awe-inspiring images from the Artic to the Equator, we like to show the world how amazing this world really is. You can see for yourself how our approaches differ. Mr. Gore made a movie with some outstanding photography in it and even won some awards. Check out his photography and ours and you'll see that we both captured something unique. Our campaign is not stepping out on a limb and criticizing Mr. Gore, just taking the opportunity to note some interesting comparisons that were recently made known to us. Hmmm. You can see an excerpt of his movie and then see and excerpt from ours. You be can be the judge for yourself.

If Hillary Can Do It, So Can We!

People are constantly making comparisons between my campaign and the campaign of the Senator, Hillary Clinton. Even though Hillary is a woman, the United States is looking at a slate of establishment candidates on both sides of the aisle. So, like her husband did back in '92, we're planning on running a "fresh faced" campaign to bring something new and energetic to Washington.

You can see Hillary's "I'm In" video below and then see why Bonnie's campaign is so fresh by watching her "I'm So In!" video. Here are both of them:
